Master of Print (PAGB) Silver Award For Judges ChoiceNot only did I manage to get in to the PAGB's 9th Master of Print Exhibition but I was also awarded a Silver Award for Judges Choice (Leigh Preston) for my image "No Longer of Use". I'm chuffed with the news! Thank you, PAGB! One of 60 images chosen (out of about 2,000 entrants), which will also be included in the exhibition catalogue. To see the full image, please go to "Abandoned USA and Canada" and choose "Saskatchewan." The image was taken with my Canon R5 and 24-105mm Canon lens at 24mm: manual, ISO 100, f14 at 1/125 sec, using a 1:1 ratio crop, positioned on a tripod. "No Longer of Use" was taken on my February 2025 photography trip to Saskatchewan, Canada with my photography friend, Steve Carroll. During that visit we travelled 12,000 miles in 4 weeks and endured temperatures down to - 44 degrees Centigrade! Five layers of clothing, Baffin insulated boots, great gloves, hat and when needed some skiing goggles as the wind was so cold on my face! We are returning to Canada early 2026 for a further 4 weeks photography exploration to include Alberta and Saskatchewan.
