Jersey is where my home is, it's a lovely island, though very small (approximately 9 x 5 miles), but it is the largest of the Channel Islands situated very near to the coast of north-west France. Jersey has some stunning scenery, especially its beaches. My favourite beach is St Ouen which faces west and is open to the Atlantic and therefore a favourite with surfers. Local people and those on holiday enjoy the 3 miles of sandy beach which goes out a long way at low tide. This gives plenty of opportunity for a variety of photographs with some amazing sunsets at times. It has a Martello tower, called La Rocco Tower, opposite the La Braye slipway. Of course there are many other well known places (and some less obvious) to photograph around the island and off shore reefs. These images of Jersey have been taken over several years.
